2023 Girls Hockey Spring Tryout Prep Camp (Ottawa - Richcraft Sensplex)
The Girls Hockey Spring Tryouts Prep Camp is the performance training choice for elite female hockey players looking to take their game to the next level in preparation for next season's team tryouts. Apex Skating, a world leader in high performance hockey skills development, brings our cutting-edge hockey training system to an intensive spring tryouts prep camp.
Camp structure and curriculum:
During each on-ice session, players will spend two hours on the ice each day. The first hour will be dedicated to improving skating skills such as balance, agility, and mechanics. This training will be done without pucks to allow players to focus on their skating techniques and develop body awareness. The second hour of each day will focus on using puck handling to apply the skating skills learned in the first hour to in-game situations. The goal is to improve overall coordination and hockey IQ.
Skill Level: All female recreational and competitive hockey levels
Birth Years: 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011
Dates/Times: April 14th (5PM-7PM), 15th (4:15PM-6:15PM), 16th (4:15PM-6:15PM)
Location: Richcraft Sensplex (813 Shefford Road - Ottawa, ON)
